Children’s Treatment Services – West Oaks Hospital is one of the few hospitals in the Houston area specializing in the acute psychiatric treatment of children under 12 years of age.

Adolescent Treatment Services– For youth aged 12 to 17, West Oaks Hospital offers mental health and chemical dependency care.

Adult Psychiatric Services – West Oaks Hospital treats adults in immediate crisis and utilizes a systems approach, as well as, medication management.

Chemical Dependency/Dual Diagnosis Program – Adults struggling with substance abuse or addiction problems can be detoxified and stabilized in the West Oaks Hospital Inpatient Program.

Chemical Dependency Residential Treatment Center (RTC) - The Oaks at West Oaks is a Residential Treatment Center for Chemical Dependency assisting adults who need longer term treatment for addictions and chemical dependency.

Geriatric Services – West Oaks Hospital is one of the only free standing specialty hospitals in the Houston Metropolitan area providing a full continuum of services for seniors ranging from inpatient to outpatient care. Services for seniors include group therapy, medication management, and case management. Treatment is supervised by a licensed psychiatrist.

Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Services – This program offers group therapy, relapse prevention, family support, and education for adults struggling with addictions. Services are now available at three locations: the West Oaks Main Campus, the Excel Center in Katy, Texas, and the Excel Center in Friendswood, Texas.

Mobile Assessment Services – The Mobile Assessment Team (MAT) provides on-site assessments to area contracted hospitals, clinics and other locations upon request. Evaluations are conducted by qualified mental health professionals. Licensed psychiatrists are available for phone consultation 24 hours a day.
